On Wednesday, January 22, the Laboratoire national de santé (LNS) hosted the first multidisciplinary meeting dedicated to optimizing the clinical and pathological management of cytological samples and small lung biopsies.
This meeting aimed to achieve several key objectives:
Improving diagnostic outcomes for patients and optimizing molecular testing.
Discussing priorities and measures to enhance the clinicopathological management of lung cancer.
Bringing together experts from various disciplines (pathologists, geneticists, clinicians) enabled a more holistic approach to the complex challenges encountered in pulmonary pathology.
This first meeting marked a significant step forward in interdisciplinary collaboration and the sharing of best practices for an increasingly effective care of lung cancer patients.
