Take part in Luxembourg’s General Biomonitoring Survey to assess exposure to chemical substances in the environment

This survey, co-financed by the European Commission and the Ministry of Health and Social Security, is conducted among children and adults across the country to measure chemical substances, which are potentially hazardous to health, in small biological samples (urine, blood, hair) and in the domestic environment (air, dust, water).

Why should you take part?

The analytical results collected will provide a better understanding of the potential health risks associated with environmental exposure and, in some cases, help European agencies and national stakeholders to take action to protect public health. That is why your contribution is essential.

How can you take part?

Your participation in the survey is completely voluntary. As a first step, we invite you to complete the form below. We will contact you later to confirm whether or not you are eligible to take part in the survey.

If you do not wish to take part, we invite you to tick the ‘no’ box in the form below and answer a few questions completely anonymously.

How will my personal data be processed?

Your data will be strictly protected in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) (EU 2016/679) and as mentioned in the leaflet you received.

The processing of your personal data is based on your consent. You may withdraw it at any time without disclosing the reasons.

Note: if you wish to take part in the survey, you will be asked to fill in your contact details in the form below. This information will be kept until the end of the process of recruiting survey participants.
