As a public institution, the Laboratoire national de santé (LNS) plays an essential role in education and the dissemination of scientific and medical knowledge in Luxembourg, as well as in raising awareness of public health issues.

The LNS contributes to the continuing education of healthcare professionals, judicial authorities and civil protection services in its areas of expertise. Our teams contribute to national and international training programmes.
Whether in our scientific or support departments, the LNS regularly welcomes Master’s students, PhD students, medical residents in training and secondary school students for compulsory, final-year or work experience internships.
Internships
The LNS works closely with the University of Luxembourg to deliver Master’s courses in biomedical sciences, bioinformatics and medicine, as well as with several European universities.
