Meet Julia, Stéphanie and Fabio

At the LNS, the quality of diagnostic testing and analysis also relies on rigorous, reliable and transparent financial management. This is precisely the role of the Accounting Team: ensuring the smooth running of the financial operations that support the institution’s activities on a daily basis.

Having been members of the Finance Service for more than 10 years, 9 years and one year respectively, Julia, Stéphanie and Fabio form a complementary and supportive team. Together, they handle day-to-day accounting, quarterly and annual closing processes in collaboration with the rest of the Finance Department, and prepare the information required for controlling, ensuring the financial monitoring essential to the institution.

The period from January to March is particularly busy, as it involves preparing the annual closing as well as the financial audit, a key period for Management and the Board of Directors

What does their day-to-day work involve? Processing around fifty invoices a day, including those related to laboratory reagents, a strategic area for LNS’s scientific activities. The workload is shared between the three of them, in a demanding environment where confidentiality and accuracy are essential.

Although their impact on the patient journey is indirect, it is no less fundamental. Through their responsibilities – accounting entries, VAT returns and the processing of expense reports – they contribute to cost control and financial transparency, enabling Management to make informed decisions.

What do they enjoy most about their work?  Its variety, its dynamic nature, and the opportunity to contribute to projects and the continuous improvement of processes. But above all, the team spirit: “We work in an atmosphere of trust, with a supportive team and excellent relationships.”
