Meet Yannick, Théo and Arnaud
Delivery Drivers within the Medical Biology Department
Présentation de Yannick, Théo and Arnaud
At the LNS, every diagnosis begins well before reaching the laboratory. The first step takes place in the field, thanks to the daily commitment of our logistics team. Today, we are shining a spotlight on Yannick, Théo and Arnaud, drivers at LNS for more than five years.
Delivering Trust, Kilometre After Kilometre
Every day, they travel between 400 and 600 kilometres to collect biological samples from hospitals, clinics and medical practices. We have four vehicles specially designed for these routes, equipped with temperature monitoring and alarm systems that comply with the ISO 17025 standard. Samples are transported at three controlled temperatures (+20°C, +5°C and -20°C) in our vehicles and must arrive in perfect condition to ensure reliable test results.
Despite logistical challenges, such as parking difficulties in cities and heavy traffic throughout the country, the team manages to reach our clients with great punctuality.
“Our drivers are now part of the sample reception team, further highlighting their role in the pre-analytical stage of sample processing. We are also working on improving sample traceability to make this entire stage more secure. I know I can rely on their experience and commitment to help us meet these evolving requirements,” says Dr Pharm., Patricia Borde, PhD, Head of the Medical Biology Department.
Autonomy and Team Spirit Every Day
hat do they appreciate most? The team atmosphere, good organisation… and autonomy. “It’s structured, but we still have a certain degree of freedom in the way we work. And the atmosphere among us is excellent.”
Their work is invaluable and has a direct impact on the medical testing process. Without fast and secure transportation, a reliable diagnosis is impossible, and medical treatment may be delayed.
