The Laboratoire National de Santé is recruiting for a permanent full time position a HR Manager (m/f) in the administration department.

 

About the Laboratoire national de santé (LNS):

The “Laboratoire National de Santé” (LNS) is a public institution under the supervision of the ministry of Health in Luxembourg. Organised as a multidisciplinary institute and supported by a professional services team, the LNS includes four scientific departments in the fields of medical biology, microbiology, forensic medicine and health protection, in addition to hosting the National Center of Pathology and the National Center of Genetics.

The LNS has its new premises in Dudelange, with state of the art, modern infrastructure in line with recent developments in medical sciences.

Its objective is to develop scientific and analytical expertise related to the prevention, diagnosis and monitoring of human diseases. Its ultimate mission is to serve patients and citizens and offer excellence in health care.

Job description:

To develop and to support the implementation of its HR strategy, the LNS is recruiting a HR Manager reporting to the COO.

The HR Manager will be in charge of HR delivery including a strong operational component as well fulfilling the organization’s mission and strategic goals around the people agenda.

 

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and manage the HR strategy in collaboration with the COO
  • Management of the HR team (HR business partnering, administrative operations, payroll, recruitment and training)
  • Manage HR projects and participate in change management initiatives (culture, values, etc.)
  • Function as a strategic business advisor to the executive management
  • Assist and advise senior management in implementing and ensuring compliance with HR policies and best practice
  • Advise all people managers in all HR aspects (employment law, recruitment, team management, compensation, career development, etc.)
  • Participate in negotiations with trade unions and maintain quality of dialogue and industrial relations
  • Develop and support employees throughout their careers
  • In charge of monthly reporting and enhancement of HR KPIs
  • Report to the board of directors for HR-related topics

 

Your profile

  • A master degree with a specialization in Human Resources and solid management backgrounds
  • At least 10 years of experience in a similar role, ideally in the health or scientific sector
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations
  • Proven communication skills, ease of contact and open-mindedness
  • Perfect command of French and English. Knowledge of any other language commonly spoken in Luxembourg is considered an asset
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
