MicroNews Data Processing

The MicroNews purpose of data processing:

• Purpose: the purpose of the processing is to manage the sending of the newsletter of the LNS Microbiology Department. It allows the Department: the management of subscriptions, the management of electronic mailings.
• Legal basis: the legitimate interest pursued by the LNS. + art. 6 4, the data were collected in the framework of partnership, collaboration, or link with the Department of Microbiology.
• Data processed: Email address. The data is collected from people during meetings, collaborations, or partnerships between the LNS and the structures in which these people are employed.
• The persons concerned: only the persons in contact with the LNS and Microbiology department, who do not click on the unsubscribe link receive the newsletter.
• Recipients of the data: the head of the Microbiology Department + the person responsible for sending the newsletter.
• Retention period: the Microbiology Department keeps the data as long as the person does not unsubscribe.
• Security: the data are kept on the servers of the Department of Microbiology, only the persons in charge of sending the newsletter have access to them + the head of the Department of Microbiology.
• Rights of the persons concerned: the persons can access and obtain a copy of their data. They can object to the processing of their data, and have them rectified or deleted. They also have the right to limit the processing of their data and to have their data ported. If people feel, after having contacted us, that their rights or their data have not been respected, they can address a complaint to the CNPD.
