Molecular genetics includes a variety of PCR-based molecular genetic tests for patients with mono-genetic disorders like Cystic Fibrosis. In addition, the service provides state-of-the-art next-generation sequencing (NGS) of gene panels for detection of somatic mutations in cancer tissue samples from patients diagnosed with a variety of cancers. The service also offers exome and genome sequencing & analyses for patients with constitutional diseases and for children with rare diseases.
