As part of their training as ATM in surgery, a group of students from the Lycée technique pour professionnels de santé, supervised by their teacher, recently visited the pathological anatomy department of the LNS.

During the visit, the head of the department, Prof. Dr. Michel Mittelbronn, presented and explained in detail the process of a biopsy from its arrival at the LNS until the transfer of the result to the persons concerned, while passing through the important phase of the diagnosis of possible injuries. In addition, Prof. Dr. Mittelbronn did not omit to enlighten them on the functioning of digital pathology, telepathology as well as presenting his entity and the corresponding responsibilities.

It is always a pleasure to be able to welcome and meet young people who are eager to learn a little more about how a laboratory like the LNS works!
