A group of motivated LNS collaborators responded to the initiative of the Centre Hospitalier Emile Mayrisch (CHEM) to participate in their Pink Mob, organised with the support of Europa Donna Luxembourg, as part of the annual pink October communication campaign aimed to raise awareness about breast cancer screening and funds for research.

CHEM had issued an invitation via social networks for the realisation of a “pink” flash-mob in order to show their solidarity and support towards all breast cancer patients. The appointment was made during lunch hour on the hospital heliport. Students from the cabaret/theatre group at the Lycée de Garçons d’Esch/Alzette had specially created a small choreography for this occasion. Among those present were, among others, the mayor of Esch/Alzette Georges Mischo, many students, teachers, hospital staff, collaborators from the administrations… and the LNS team, all in pink!
