Dr Alexandre Mzabi from the bacteriology, microbiology, antibiotic resistance and hospital hygiene service of the LNS microbiology department recently participated as speaker in the first training on the proper use of antibiotics. This session was a great succes and was organized, in collaboration with other national and French experts, by the Ministry of Health and DeWidong, as part of the National Antibiotics Plan.

This training was an opportunity to exchange with the country’s various health professionals, and strengthened the role of the LNS in the National Antibiotic Plan. Indeed, LNS is actively involved in this plan, in particular for the establishment of the national platform to collect data on the country’s antimicrobial resistance.
