As the school year is ending, we would like to thank the high schools Marie-Consolatrice d’Esch-sur-Alzette, Mathias Adam de Lamadelaine, Vauban, Athénée as well as the Luxembourg University for coming to visit the LNS over the last quarter.
These visits were shaped according to groups’ objectives, their specialties or their sole desire to discover. This is how the departments of Medical Biology, Microbiology and the National Center of Pathology as well as the Food Monitoring Service , the Forensic Toxicology Service and the Technical platform for analytical toxicology and pharmaceutical chemistry opened their doors to the students. Our specialists were able to give them an overview of their daily activities and work.
School visits are a great tool to arouse students’ curiosity about the scientific world, more than that, it is also a way the LNS experts to try to transmit the passion that drives them every day to future generations.
